Mowasalat (Karwa) and Ministry of Education Launch “Back to School” Campaign at Doha Festival City

Mowasalat (Karwa), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, has kicked off the “Back to School” campaign for the 2024-2025 academic year under the theme “My School is My Second Home.” Running from August 25 to 31 at Doha Festival City from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM daily, the campaign aims to mentally prepare students for the new school year through a mix of educational and fun activities.

The event offers a range of activities for children and students of all ages, including games designed to boost skills and abilities, as well as workshops focused on the importance of learning in a positive environment. Various government and private entities are participating, providing sessions on topics like children’s health and road safety to support students’ overall development and readiness for the school year.

Mohammed Ahmed M K Abukhadija, Strategy Management Office Director: “We are proud of our ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in supporting the ‘Back to School’ campaign. We believe in the importance of these activities in creating an inspiring and motivating educational environment for students, helping them to be optimally prepared to return to school with renewed spirit and great enthusiasm.”

He added, “Our role at Mowasalat is not limited to providing safe and reliable school transportation services, but also includes our ongoing commitment to training our drivers to the highest standards of safe driving through the Karwa Academy and ensuring that our fleet of school buses is equipped with the latest safety technologies.”

Ms. Maryam Abdullah Al Mohannadi, Director of Public Relations and Communication Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, said, “We take pride in the continued fruitful partnership with Mowasalat (Karwa) in the ‘Back to School’ campaign held under the slogan ‘My School is My Second Home,’ and we appreciate their efforts to contribute to preparing our students for the school year through enjoyable and purposeful entertainment activities.”

The “Back to School” campaign is an annual initiative that helps students, especially newcomers, overcome anxiety about the new school year by engaging them in fun and educational activities. This campaign underscores the commitment of both Mowasalat (Karwa) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to fully support students and parents for a successful start to the academic year.
