Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Collection is delighted to announce the appointment of Jad Doumet as its new General Manager, effective September 2024.
Jad comes to this role with an impressive 22 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, including a significant seven-year tenure at Accor, which began in 2017 when he served as Regional Director of Sales for Luxury Brands.
In his new position, Jad will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Collection, a boutique hotel that harmoniously combines heritage and contemporary elegance. Additionally, he will focus on nurturing an organizational culture that aligns with the luxury standards of the MGallery brand.
Before this appointment, Jad held the position of Vice President of Partnership at Accor, where he achieved several notable milestones, such as the launch of Accor’s first co-branded credit card in the Middle East and Africa in collaboration with Visa. He also initiated conversion partnerships with major banks in the GCC and India and successfully led the cross-reward partnership with Qatar Airways.
Jad is set to be the driving force behind Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Collection, leading the team with a distinguished presence and refined elegance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Notre University. Prior to joining Accor, Jad held leadership roles at both Jumeirah Group and InterContinental Hotels.
