RIVAAJ, a Michelin-selected dining destination will welcome back Surjan Singh, also known fondly as Chef Jolly, to Doha. The celebrated MasterChef India judge will bring his culinary prowess introducing specially curated dishes for the RIVAAJ tasting menu. The unveiling will take place during his visit from March 27 to April 3.
Infused into these dishes are his love of culinary traditions and the diversity gained from decades of travel and exploration, paying homage to regional cuisine. RIVAAJ’s refreshed menu will feature a vibrant selection of small sharing plates and a delectable range of tasting menus. It will be feast for all senses and is sure to satisfy the most discerning of palates. Social dining reimagined as shared moments are celebrated over explosions of new flavours enhancing the RIVAAJ dining experience.
Among the new exciting offerings are locally inspired samplers such as Charred Eggplant Mash with Sesame-Mint-Labneh; Chole Hummus with Garlic Naanettes; and Venison Tenderloin Seekh Kebab, expertly seasoned with stone flower, smoked chili, and accompanied by a refreshing mint-garlic dip, presenting a creative take on traditional flavors. Tease your taste buds with “Khaad Gosht,” a braised lamb shank pie with cinnamon, green cardamom, nutmeg, and saffron aromatic sauce, inspired by the ancient cooking methods of Rajasthan’s warriors who used pit-baking techniques during their hunts.
