ALMOTAHAJIBA, Qatar’s premier luxury fashion brand specializing in abayas and modest wear, proudly unveils its groundbreaking Resort 2024 Collection in partnership with renowned Italian textile house Ing. Loro Piana. This exclusive collection marks ALMOTAHAJIBA’s first collaborative venture into womenswear.

The ALMOTAHAJIBA Resort 2024 Collection embodies meticulous craftsmanship and a shared creative vision, drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes of the Middle East and the tranquility of summer. This collection is a wearable masterpiece, effortlessly blending traditional silhouettes with modern aesthetics.

“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with Ing. Loro Piana, synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless elegance,” said Mr Abdul Aziz Al Siddiqi, COO of Al Siddiqi Holding. “This collaboration not only marks a significant milestone for ALMOTAHAJIBA, but also reflects our dedication to providing our discerning clientele with unparalleled luxury and innovative designs.”

The ALMOTAHAJIBA Resort 2024 Collection was unveiled at an exclusive, invitation-only event on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in a gallery transformed to evoke the picturesque Italian countryside. Emphasizing sustainability, leftover fabric was used to create the invitations and table napkins, reflecting Ing. Loro Piana’s strong commitment to eco-friendly practices. Guests at the event were invited to experience the collection up close, immersing themselves in the luxurious, wearable works of art.

The collection embodies the textile house’s deep connection to nature, featuring an exquisite range of meticulously crafted abayas, jalabiyas, and sheilas. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to enhance the wearer’s experience, using Ing. Loro Piana’s world-renowned fabrics known for their exceptional quality, softness, and durability. The collection includes breathable linens, Cash Pima (a fine cotton-cashmere blend), sumptuous silks, and innovative, sustainable materials, offering a tactile journey that is both indulgent and environmentally conscious.

The minimalist designs, characterized by clean lines, sharp tailoring, and subtle details, exude timeless sophistication. Catering to various preferences and occasions, the collection spans classic silhouettes to contemporary interpretations. The color palette, inspired by the natural beauty of the Middle Eastern landscape, includes earthy tones, soft pastels, and vibrant accents, symbolizing the pride infused throughout the design process.

During the launch, Mr. Al Siddiqi gave a welcome speech, joined by Paolo Toschi, Italian Ambassador to Qatar, who expressed his joy at the partnership. Mr. Vittorio Osella, Loro Piana’s Marketing Development Manager and Vice President North America, shared his excitement about combining Ing. Loro Piana’s unique quality with ALMOTAHAJIBA’s classic designs in the Resort 2024 Collection.

The collection is available at select ALMOTAHAJIBA boutiques across Qatar, including Villaggio Mall, Place Vendôme Mall, and Landmark Mall. It will also be released at Doha Festival City in August 2024. Visitors to ALMOTAHAJIBA boutiques can witness the curated pieces in artistic backdrops, creating an immersive, sensorial experience.

This groundbreaking collaboration sets the stage for a continued progressive relationship, with exciting future collections already in discussion.
