QH interviews Emre Kocamustafaogullari General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha. Emre, who runs the operations of 583 rooms, 14 food and beverage outlets, 11 meetings and event venues including vast health club services discusses the strategies, hurdles, and achievements that have contributed to the hotel’s remarkable success.

Emre Kocamustafaogullari, General Manager, Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha believes that the staff are invaluable resources of the hospitality business. Speaking to QH on his plans to elevate guest experiences at Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha, he stated that he ensures that the hotel has a healthy, happy, and professionally developing working environment for the team members. Aside from that, Kocamustafaogullari said, encouraging the staff to attend continuous training in their respective fields as well as involving them with current yet relevant happenings in the hotel helps with achieving the goal of a well-appreciated staff who work to provide the best customer experience.
Detailing staff development initiatives of the hotel, Kocamustafaogullari informs, “We are a diverse hotel with 600+ team members and it excites me whenever I see them fulfilled and evolving. This motivates me more – helping them grow not only in terms of their careers but also individually as a person which extends to their families.”

With his transformative leadership, Kocamustafaogullari started his new role remodeling the Food and Beverage, Meetings & Events, Rooms Division, and redefining Sales, Marketing and Revenue management strategy with sustainability in mind, while his vision focuses on commitment to employee’s welfare and development that brings seamless guest experience.
