Why Abaya design?
I chose abaya fashion design because it allows me to blend cultural heritage with modern style. The abaya is not just a garment; it’s a symbol of elegance, modesty, and identity. Through my designs, I aim to celebrate this rich tradition while also offering innovative interpretations that resonate with today’s diverse and fashion-forward audience.
Design inspiration:
I began by drawing inspiration from traditional elements, gradually incorporating contemporary influences and experimenting with new techniques and materials. Each piece builds upon the last, reflecting my evolving aesthetic sensibilities, personal experiences, and the ever-changing landscape of fashion. It’s a continuous process of learning and adaptation, fuelled by creativity and a passion for innovation.
