Chingari, the acclaimed Indian restaurant at Radisson Blu Doha, proudly presents its 2nd Shikar and Biryani Food Festival, running from April 25th to May 10th, 2024. Join us on a culinary journey back to the 19th and 20th centuries of the British Empire.
The festival’s inauguration on April 25th, 2024, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Radisson Blu Hotel Doha’s General Manager, Mr. Emre Kocamustafaogullari, and the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy, Honourable Shri Sandeep Kumar.
Inspired by the royal kitchens of India, where princely states and British Army Commanders brought their prized game, known as “Shikar,” Chingari has crafted a special menu paying homage to this rich culinary tradition.
The festival aims to offer guests an authentic taste of history, celebrating India’s diverse culture. Featuring dishes from majestic hunts of yesteryears, Chingari has meticulously sourced farm-bred ingredients to uphold the highest standards of sustainability and animal welfare.
Indulge in a variety of exquisite Indian cuisines, starting with appetizing starters like crispy fried puris topped with chickpeas, yogurt, and chutney or Masala Prawns and Alamgir Hiran Tikka, showcasing farm-fed venison with freshly ground spices.
No Chingari experience is complete without indulging in its renowned tandoor delights! From the royal kitchens of Jaipur, relish Kabab e Batkh Sultani, duck cooked in secret spices, or Champ Tazadar, lamb chops marinated overnight and cooked in the traditional tandoor.
