Alwadi Hotel Doha MGallery Collection is pleased to announce the appointment of Jad Doumet as its new general manager, effective September 2024. With 22 years of luxury hospitality experience, including seven years at Accor, Doumet brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
Doumet’s journey with Accor began in 2017 when he served as regional director of sales for Luxury Brands. As the new general manager of Alwadi Hotel Doha, he will oversee operations at this boutique hotel, known for blending heritage with modern elegance, while ensuring the MGallery brand’s luxury standards are met.
Before this role, Doumet was vice president of partnership at Accor, where he spearheaded key initiatives like launching Accor’s first co-branded credit card in the Middle East and Africa, and forming conversion partnerships with leading banks in the GCC and India. His leadership also led to a successful cross-reward partnership with Qatar Airways.
Doumet holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Notre Dame University and has held leadership roles at Jumeirah Group and InterContinental Hotels before joining Accor. “Jad’s experience and leadership qualities make him an outstanding asset to the hotel and I’m excited to see him taking over this new role.
