Jamavar Doha takes its name from the beautifully intricate and vibrant 16th century Kashmiri shawls with regal and elegant embroidery that is both sophisticated and elaborate. It is known for its exquisite menu and rich taste, including almost every authentic Indian cuisine and specialises and resonates with the perfection of Indian cuisines by adopting the ideal cooking style, indigenous spices, and flavours to satiate the senses and it is all complemented by elegant interiors.
Taking a culinary journey curated by Michelin starred Chef Surender Mohan, Culinary Director & Executive Chef of Jamavar London, therefore is an invitation to the new exciting winter flavours and fragrant spices of India.
Jamavar Doha’s new menu showcases dishes from the small and untouched villages and the province of the Indian subcontinent that is colourful and vibrant replete with stories and memories. It was nothing less than a tribute to the rich and diverse Indian palate inspired from royal history and splendour.
The new menu has been designed to bring the perfection of Indian cuisine by adopting a range of authentic cooking techniques and indigenous spices and flavours, reflecting the essence of its siblings across India and London. Some of the dishes include the Edamame Bhel, Lucknowi Gosht Haleem, aromatic and flavourful Tandoori Mahi Tikka, Murg Seekh Kebab, a decadent Royal Kebab Platter, Calicut Sea Bass Curry, Kolkata Style Lamb Chops Biryani, Kerala Style Beef Pepper Fry and many more. To complement the menu, an array of desserts was thoughtfully hand-picked to create a perfect finish to the meal.
