Challenging the dominance of global fast-food giants, junior’s, Qatar’s own quick-service restaurant (QSR) sensation, has launched its flagship 175-seat store in Al Saad, Doha. With bold aspirations and a focus on raising the bar for fast food in Qatar, junior’s aims to offer not just meals but a transformative dining experience.

The grand opening represents a key milestone in junior’s journey to revolutionize casual dining in Qatar. By combining high-quality fast food with a warm, family-friendly ambiance, junior’s is creating waves in the industry. Guests were treated to a preview of junior’s unique mix of freshly made fast food infused with authentic local character, both in the food and the environment.

Abdulla Al-Ansari, the visionary founder of junior’s, expressed the brand’s innovative mission: “I’m deeply honored and proud to see so many people join us for this milestone occasion. junior’s is here to show that a Qatari brand can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s  leading fast food chains. The flagship store raises the standard, featuring a café, a children’s play area, a birthday section, a convenient drive-thru, and an expanding menu catering to diverse tastes. More than just a place to eat, junior’s serves as a community hub for families, professionals, and food lovers. With a strong emphasis on variety and dietary options, junior’s is set to transform Qatar’s casual dining landscape, focusing on quality, convenience, and building a sense of community.

Ghada Kamal, the Head of Marketing at junior’s, articulated the brand’s fearless approach: “Our tagline, ‘The New Love,’ captures the passion we bring to every dish. junior’s is more than a restaurant; it’s a brand that stands for local innovation, daring creativity, and experiences that people will talk about long after their meal.”

In addition, junior’s revealed ambitious expansion plans with three new locations set to open in Ezghawa, Ein Khalad, and Wakra. This marks just the beginning of their journey toward dominating Qatar’s QSR market, with a focus on sustainability and local sourcing, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030.

To celebrate, junior’s will host a week of family-friendly activities from October 3rd to 8th, 2024, from 6 to 10 PM. The festivities will include singing competition auditions, face painting, magic and clown shows, a photobooth, and games for all ages.
