Visit Qatar hosted a special event to honor brand ambassador Mutaz Barshim for his accomplishments at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Held on September 11, the event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chair of Visit Qatar’s Board of Directors, along with Visit Qatar CEO, Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi.
Barshim made history by winning Qatar’s first medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, earning bronze in the Men’s High Jump. As a long-standing brand ambassador, Barshim has appeared in numerous key campaigns, including Shop Qatar and Visit Qatar’s stopover promotions.
During the event, Barshim and Visit Qatar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), extending their partnership for another year. The agreement includes Barshim’s continued involvement in Visit Qatar events, social media collaborations, and efforts to promote Qatar globally.
